—user summary

Our 19th issue brings several Italian-themed variants to our Gazala 1942 game, with additional Italian armored divisions added to the game (in place of those deadly German panzer divisions).

There’s the 133rd “Littorio” Armored Division, which had just arrived and spent the battle acclimatizing its troops and vehicles to the North African desert but could have been brought to the front. The 131st “Centauro” Armored Division, which did not deploy to North Africa until after the campaign had already been lost. And the 134th “Freccia” Armored Division, which began forming but never saw action. Plus some other units that might have been present, allowing you to fight the Battle of Gazala without the Germans (spoiler: Gazala without the Germans is pretty tough for the Axis).
